Why do we look like a block of swiss cheese and what is the meaning behind the name? Discover the magic of our brand-new Biyal-a Library with this one hour tour.
Come and join us on a guided tour of our new facilities at Biyal-a Armstrong Creek Library!
Learn about the name, it's beautiful architecture and sustainable design, explore the building, discover our initiatives for the community and gain access to the locked areas (including a glimpse into the returns room if we're lucky!). We'll also talk about the rapidly growing future of Armstrong Creek and urban planning.
Check out the multiple community spaces: from the terrace areas, Media Room, Games Room, Quiet Study area, Creative and Maker spaces, bookable rooms to the many open spaces available for work, study or leisure.
Discover new technologies, games and our extensive collection of resources for all members.
Bookings are essential. Tours generally take one hour depending on the size and mobility of the group.
Afterwards, we encourage you to make a day of it here and join the Wildlife Walk with BCN – Explore, Discover, Protect guided tour at 1:00pm to connect with nature and explore the beautiful Armstrong Creek woodlands and wetlands.
If you aren't a library member already you can start the process by joining online here.
If you are a group wanting a private tour for your group (minimum of 5), please contact us by calling 4201 0672 or emailing armstrongcreek@grlc.vic.gov.au
