Pitch Up Geelong is a live crowd-funding event inspired by the model developed by The Funding Network. The event showcases three local community organisations, each given the opportunity to pitch their programs to an audience of potential donors who are passionate about creating positive change in our community.
Up to 200 community members attend the event, with a key incentive to donate on the night being the opportunity for contributions to be matched dollar-for-dollar by local businesses that have committed as matched funders.
In 2026, Pitch Up Geelong will shine a spotlight on a powerful theme: Empowering women through equity and fairness.
This year’s three community organisations will present bold, community led initiatives designed to break down barriers, create opportunities, and drive lasting change for women in our region. At its heart, this event is about collective action. Bringing our community together to hear inspiring ideas, form meaningful connections, and support solutions that benefit us all. Join us for an evening that brings new voices and ideas to the forefront, sparks conversation, and reminds us what’s possible when we invest in equity.
The three pitching organisations in 2026 are:
- Cultura - Project: Sew Good Cultura
- Killara Foundation- Project: The Djilang Sisters Hub
- Cloverdale Community Centre - Project: Lotus Kitchen Enterprise
Tickets: free
