What to expect:
- Family Movie Time is a movie screening, held in the young adult area of the library on a large television screen with chair seating.
- The lights will remain on during the movie screening.
- Movies shown will be rated either G or PG. Please contact the library if you would like to confirm what movie is screening this month.
- The group size varies between 5 and 25 participants, with a maximum number of 30.
- It is a relaxed, welcoming environment; however we ask that noise is kept to minimum so that all participants can enjoy the movie.
Bookings and supervision:
- Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.
- Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program.
- Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.

About the Library
The Lara Library is conveniently located next to Austin Park, in a central community hub shared with the Maternal Child Health Centre, Lara Kindergarten and Lara Community Centre. The branch features zones for children and young people, study and reading areas, public access PCs, free WiFi and two Apple iMac computers. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and events and programs for adults are also run throughout the year.
