Geelong Library Nyaal Discussion Room 4 (Level 2)

Join us for our monthly book club to chat about classic literature, share your thoughts, and discover what makes these stories endure.

Come along for a lively discussion about the book, its characters, themes, and the ideas that continue to resonate with readers today. No need to be an expert — just bring your thoughts and enjoy the conversation.

This month we will be chatting about Franz Kafka’s acclaimed novella The Metamorphosis, a strange and thought-provoking story about Gregor Samsa, who wakes one morning to find that he has been transformed into a giant insect. Through this surreal premise, Kafka explores family, identity, isolation, responsibility, and what it means to be human.

You can borrow a copy of the book from the library.
