Greatly missed on TV screens, the nation’s favourite film critics Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton reunite in a special event discussing movie adaptations of Australian books. The famously sparring duo settle back into their critics’ chairs to offer their top five stand-out movies that do justice to the original text, the five-star films that bested the books and the flops that lost their lustre when transposed from page to screen.

Please note, these events are only available to view either in-person (in Sydney) or via this livestream service to the Library. They are not available to view online. Events will be screened in the Level 2 Meeting Room at Geelong Library and Heritage Centre. Patrons are welcome to attend any and all sessions, all screenings are free and bookings are required.
