Discover what 3D printing is and how it works. Design your own custom name tag and see an item 3D printed in this beginner's session.

What to expect: 

  • This is a hands on educational program that will cover the basics of 3D printing including how to submit a 3D file to be printed with Geelong Libraries.
  • You will also use Windows laptops to find ready made 3D print files, as well as design your own 3D object.
  • This session is run by a library staff member for up to 6 participants.

Bookings:

Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program. Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend.

About the Library

Newcomb Library is a popular community gathering space and is situated within a busy shopping precinct. The branch features a range of services and facilities including public access PCs, free WiFi, zones for reading, study and working, and a large meeting room available for community hire. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and events and lifelong learning programs for adults are run throughout the year.
