The Food 4 Future program is a series of free workshops, including practical life skills and including snacks, take home meal, fresh vege box, food handling certificate and a kitchen kit! Ages:15-24
Food 4 Future brings young people together in a series of free workshops incorporating important life skills such as food planning, budgeting, food shopping, and meal preparation. They also have the chance to complete a TAFE food handling certificate to support employability.

*Workshop 2 requires pre-enrolment with The Gordon TAFE and some online modules before the workshop. Please contact your library for enrolment details.

This busy and vibrant branch serves Geelong’s northern suburbs. Highlights of this branch include zoned areas for study, reading and children’s activities, bilingual picture books, LOTE (Languages other than English) magazines, a learning English collection, World DVDs and a parenting collection. The library has a large meeting room for community hire, a range of accessibility features and a dedicated makerspace enabling discovery and creativity. Regular Baby, Toddler, Inclusive and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, as well as events and programs for adults taking place throughout the year.
