Whether you're a beginner or have some sewing experience, this workshop offers the perfect opportunity to transform old, unused garments into stylish, one-of-a-kind pieces. Learn essential techniques for altering clothing to fit better, as well as innovative methods to breathe new life into fabrics that might otherwise go to waste. Join us to explore the art of sustainable fashion, reduce your carbon footprint, and leave with unique creations that reflect your personal style. Please bring along a project that you'd like to work on and we can help get you started.
*If you haven't received an induction into our sewing machines and overlocker at Geelong Library before, then please arrive 10-15mins prior to the program start time so that we can get you set up.
