Saving Family Stories
Introduction to the photo and video digitisation station

Get those photos, VHS tapes, Super 8/8mm film reels, camcorder tapes, slides and negatives out of storage and learn how you can bring them to digital life, ready to share with family and friends!
What to expect:
- This is an educational program led by a library staff member for up to 6 participants.
- You will learn how to use the equipment to convert your old photos, slides, film negatives, VHS tapes, and super 8 film into digital files.
- You are welcome to bring along a slide, photo or negative to share and practise with, or use the ones provided by the library.
Bookings:
Bookings are essential to save your place in the program. Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend so we can offer your place to others.
Bookings close 60 minutes prior to the session.

About the Library
Newcomb Library is a popular community gathering space and is situated within a busy shopping precinct. The branch features a range of services and facilities including public access PCs, free WiFi, zones for reading, study and working, and a large meeting room available for community hire.
