Join local author Melissa Symonds for a reading and exploration of her new Children's book, Foxy's Old School Van Trip.
Join Foxy and Foxette as they embark on a tech-free caravan adventure with their parents. Based on true events. Follow this everyday Aussie family as they embark on an exciting journey around Australia with a mission to immerse themselves in the raw beauty of their homeland and all it has to offer. Inspired by Mummy Fox's fondest memories as a child, her ambition is to take her children on this trip of a lifetime and travel tech-free. Growing up without mobile devices and iPads, she wants to share with her children, Foxy and Foxette, all the fun activities she did as a child and allow them to relive these. Reconnecting with nature, meeting new people, playing games, spotting wildlife and enjoying time as a family on the road is what great memories are made of. With beautiful illustrations by Kalibah Studios, Melissa has incorporated rhyming text and educational illustrations for her audience, so parents can engage their children in a fun and entertaining learning experience.
